Torrified Wheat (Briess)

Torrified Wheat has its cellular structure broken down via heat treatment. Used for boosting the effect of malt enzymes when breaking down starches and proteins. May be used in place of raw wheat in some Wit Beers. Add directly to the mash. Popular with the British breweries in the production of pale ale.
