Rauchbiers have a huge smoke flavor that create a dry beer - sweeten it up by adding 2 lbs. of Frozen Sweet Cherries to the secondary during lagering. The cherry flavor will create an interesting compliment of sweet fruit and smoke that makes for a very pleasurable beer.

Smoked Beers like Rauchbier contain enough smokey aromatics to compliment any meal, but be wary about pairing this beer with additional smoked foods as it can be overwhelming. Go for grilled chicken, a burger, or even a light fish dish.
