Ashburne Mild Malt is a high-kilned base malt for elevated sweet, malty flavor and aroma and rich, golden color. May be used as a base malt or as a high percentage specialty malt. A great base malt choice for mild, brown, and amber ales. If you plan on using it as a base malt we would recommend blending it with another malt such as Maris Otter to cut back on the distinct sweetness flavor.
